As a public charter school, we receive
less state and local funding than other traditional public schools.
Therefore, we rely heavily on fundraising. The auction is the school's
largest fundraiser, and proceeds contribute directly to the school's
operating budget.
ANCS was named Georgia’s "Charter School of the Year" in 2015. It also ranked in the top five elementary and middle schools in Atlanta on the state academic accountability report card. The second oldest charter school in Atlanta, we’ve been recognized for energy-efficient facilities as well as innovative teaching practices. This year's auction will celebrate the school's farm-to-table school nutrition program.
