The Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School invites you to attend our 12th annual auction, the Wonder Ball.
The event is Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 5:00pm - 11:00pm at the Georgia Freight Depot in downtown Atlanta.
As always, the fun-filled event will allow you to bid on top-notch art as well as goods, merchandise and services from your favorite businesses and neighbors. And who wants to miss out on the chance to win time with your favorite ANCS teacher or principal?
This year will feature delicious food (courtesy of Endive Catering), a cash bar and live tunes, courtesy of the fantastic 80’s pop band Electric Avenue.
Since its grassroots founding more than 13 years ago, ANCS has provided children in Grant Park and the surrounding neighborhoods with a quality education in an urban environment. ANCS now has two campuses serving a racially and economically diverse mix of students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
ANCS was a finalist for Georgia’s "Charter School of the Year" in 2014. It also ranked in the top five elementary and middle schools in Atlanta on the state academic accountability report card. The second oldest charter school in Atlanta, we’ve been recognized for energy-efficient facilities as well as innovative teaching practices.
As a public charter school, we receive less state and local funding than other traditional public schools. Therefore, we rely heavily on fundraising. The auction is the school's largest fundraiser, and proceeds contribute directly to the school's operating budget.
We look forward to seeing you at our auction on Saturday, March 7th!
